Surgery

I have known for a while that this was coming, but I have tried to put it off as long as possible. Cannon is going to have his adenoids removed on July 31st. The procedure is not a difficult or long one, but it requires Cannon to be put under anesthesia. I know I shouldn't worry and that God is in control, but I am a mom and worrying is what I do best! Cannon usually has really bad runny noses and sleep problems. He is very restless when he sleeps and snores as loud or louder than his daddy sometimes! The doctor assures me that this will help him sleep much better and not have as many snotty nose problems. They will also be taking blood to check for allergies he may have. I ask that everyone keep Cannon in their prayers and especially remember to say a prayer for him on July 31st when he goes in for surgery. I have heard from my sister-in-law that when the babies wake up from the anesthesia they are very disoriented and upset. That is what I am most worried about. I want to be able to console him and also for him to not be in any pain. So now with this surgery scheduled I officially that every single weekend of July booked! We are very busy people this month!
