Sorry I haven't posted in a while! Oops! I have just had a lot going on. But let me catch everyone up on what has been going on in our little world...
Our Halloween plans ended up being quite different than we planned. My mom was suppose to be coming to Dallas to spend halloween with us, but instead we made an emergency trip to Oklahoma. Thursday night I got a call from my step-dad telling me they thought my mom was having a heart attack. Talk about scared! I didn't know what to do! I didn't know if I needed to get in the car right then and drive or what. I waited it out to hear her condition and they said she was stable. So I decided to wait until the next morning to leave. Well of course everything that could go wrong did that morning. Not with my mom, but just with me getting ready for the trip. So I didn't end up leaving Dallas until about 1:00. By the time I got to Tulsa my mom had been released from the hospital, Praise the Lord! They said it was a result of really high blood pressure and stress. They found no damage to her heart which was amazing! Sp she of course had to take it easy the next few days. But on halloween we headed over to Aunt Stacey's house to let Cannon and Gage go trick or treating together. Cannon was a pirate and Gage was a dinosaur. They both looked so cute. Cannon would go up and ring the doorbell. He would great the person who answered with "ARRRGGG! I'm a pirate!" He is such a little ham! I don't know where he gets it! Talk about personality!

Cannon has been talking non-stop it seems. He says some of the most random things too. I hate to admit it, but I let Cannon watch a little too much tv at times. But hey, I am pregnant and tired so sometimes that is the easiest way to distract him while I get some rest! I feel somewhat justified in this decision because I only let him watch educational shows. He doesn't get to watch just random cartoons. He watches Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Dinosaur Train, Little Enstiens, etc. He is actually learning a lot from these. In the past few weeks I have heard him talk about hexagons, ovals, machines, he drew the number 6, and countless other things. I am shocked everytime he tells me something like that! Last night we were cutting up potatoes and he told me "Hey, Mommy those are ovals!" Wow! Smart kid! I can't wait to see when he starts school. He is going to be a fast learner I can already tell.
As far as baby news, as you can see by the ticker at the top I have reached the 12 week mark! Hooray!! Things have been good. I don't get nausea as often now. I still have a hard time eating somedays. Nothing sounds that great to me. I know this will pass soon though and I will be stuffing my face constantly! Next month we will find out what we are having! Can't wait!
