This past weekend my Mother-in-law and I took a great risk! I got the crazy idea that I wanted to make Madison's crib bedding custom. So I picked out the fabric and the pattern, then hoped my MIL would be up for the challenge. I have to admit. I was a little nervous at first. I am very particular when it comes to my home decor and design ideas. This was one I was very excited about doing. So when it came to actually putting it together, I started to second guess myself. My thoughts of how am I going to tell
Bequita that I don't like it or that it just isn't what I was imagining, etc. But I was shocked to find that it came out better than I dreamed it to be! I absolutely love it! It is perfect in
every way. The most special part of it is that her bedding was made by her Nana and her momma. We spent the entire weekend from the time we got there on Friday until Sunday right before we left, working on every detail of her beautiful bedding. It was so fun to make it, although exhausting, and seeing the final product. I will be so sad the day she grows out of her crib and we have to put it away.

Excuse the make shift crib we have yet to order her crib!
