Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's Back to Oklahoma We Go!
Lately we have been having an un-Godly amount of spiders around our house. I HATE SPIDERS! I have a major, MAJOR phobia of them. I find it hard to get in bed at night in fear that there is a spider waiting under the covers for me! So basically I am a big chicken when it comes to killing them. I don't want to get anywhere near them! Cannon has been catching on to the whole spiders thing and seeing them around the house and us killing them. Well the other day it was just Cannon and I, he came running in yelling "Fpider, Fpider Mommy!" Oh great I thought, I have to kill it. So I told him that I would take care of it, but he said "No Mommy! I do it!" and ran to the room. I started yelling "NNNNNOOOOOOOOOO! Get back, get away from the spider!" He told me he wanted to kill it! I told him that only mommy and daddy can do it right now because spiders like to bite! I find it so sad that my almost 3 year old son is braver than I am. Andrew told me the other day he had killed a spider and told Cannon to get him toilet paper to pick it up. Cannon ran and got the paper and then picked the spider up HIMSELF!!!! That is where I draw the line! I kill them and then leave them for Andrew to pick up when he gets home. I am so ashamed of myself!

Wall Decor...
1. Take out the paper that is package in the frame as a display.
2. Lay it on the pattern paper of your choice. Make sure you find a good spot when the design will look good and centered. You don't want it to look chopped off.
3. Take a pencil and trace around the display paper, then cut it out. By using it as a guide it should insure that it will be a perfect fit for the frame.
4.Place the pattern paper in the frame and put the back of the frame on.
5. Hang your pictures where ever your heart desires!
Here is what my finished product looked like:
The middle one is hard to make out on here but it is a
black and brown design.I think it looks pretty good for only costing about $15 bucks!

The Pantless Wonders
Cannon and his friend Ella grabbed the guitars and started singing and playing the other day. It was so cute I just had to catch it on tape! Then I notice both of them were pantless, hints the name The Pantless Wonders! HAHA! Hope you enjoy their performances.
I once again have a few very busy weekends ahead. I will have the Mileur Family in this weekend. We wanted to get everyone together once this summer to enjoy some good family time. I think we may go tour the new Dallas Cowboys' Stadium. Then next weekend I will be headed to Oklahoma once again to celebrate Cannon's birthday with his cousin Gage. They are both turning 3! I am also hoping my best friend goes into labor that week or weekend too! I really want to be there when she has baby Coop! I can't wait to meet him! And then the third weekend will be Labor Day weekend and we are having family over and then once again celebrating Cannon's birthday with the other side of the fam. I tell you what, my child is spoiled having two parties each year! Unfortunately that is the only way to do it so that everyone is able to be there.
I think I will begin to add a new feature to my blog. I alway enjoy a good craft so I decided that I would share these fun, EASY, crafts that I find so some of you might partake in them too! I don't think it will be an everday or even an every week thing but just when I run across some I will share them. I have a few in mind that I will start with! Next post though! Enjoy the videos!

Yea Mommy!
The other day I heard Cannon say "Uh Oh, poo poo!" and run to the bathroom. I thought OMG! He is finally getting it! Then I heard the toilet flush. I was scared to go in there. What I found was semi-good and semi-bad. I saw Cannon, diaperless, standing by the toilet saying "Mommy, I poopied in the potty!" I flush it!" Hmmm... I thought. There is no possible way he could have done it that fast. So I did what any mother would do. A butt check. Sure enough there was poop all over his bottom. I asked Cannon where he put his diaper. "It right there Mommy!" He had placed it in the trash can. I checked the diaper and it had markings in if, if you know what I mean. So I concluded that he pooped in his diaper, then took it off and flushed the poop down the toilet. He has seen me and Nana do this before. The problem is he thinks he deserves a treat for this. Because his poop was in the toilet. I want him to understand that this is where poop goes, but the process of it getting there was not right. I explained to him this was good for him to do but he only gets treat when he actually sits on the potty to go. He wasn't too happy with that.
Well, tomorrow morning is the big day. My little boy is going under the knife!! :) I just ask for your prayers. That he will respond fine to the anesthetic and that he will not be in a lot of pain. I will let everyone know how he is going as soon as I can! Thanks for the prayers!

The Wedding Week
The first was on Wednesday I went out to my car to find that someone had hit my car! The only damage was that they completely knocked my driver side mirror off. They, of course, did NOT leave a note. Thankfully my dad found one online and it will only cost about $30 bucks to replace, but still!!
The next adventure occurred on the wedding day itself. We were using live goldfish for the centerpieces. So we went to Pets Mart and bought 14 and they threw in 2 extra. Well once we got to the vineyard only half of them made it! Did I mention the vineyard is out in the middle of NOWHERE! We couldn't just pop back into town and get some more. We also discovered that we had left the isle runner at Dana's house. So my wonderful hubby volunteered to run back and get the new fish and runner. He was my hero that day, well I suppose he is everyday really!
And finally after a long, hard, day when we were all exhausted and ready to hit the sack. We were going to leave the vineyard at 10:30 pm only to find that my dad, who was the designated driver for Dana and Michael, left with the keys to their car leaving Lori stranded. Since the vineyard is in the middle of nowhere hardly anybody had good reception on their cellphone. I managed to find a spot were I got a couple of bars and called. Dad didn't answer. I called Dana. Voicemail. I called Michael. I got an answer! He said I'll call you back. He didn't. We had no idea what to do. So we all decided to head back to Edmond and get the keys from my dad. Finally I get a call from Michael as we are heading back saying my dad dropped them off with someone else and he had turned around to head back to the vineyard. GREAT!!! Thanks for telling us now!! Luckily we weren't to far down the road when we saw my dad pass us. We got the keys and all was well. Besides the fact that Dad and Lori didn't get back to Pryor until 2:30 am!
But the wedding was beautiful as well as the bride, and Cannon looked very handsome in his vest and tie. Oh yeah, and ignore the barefoot child, his mother forgot to bring his shoes to the wedding as well. Oops!

Down for the Count!
Cannon is staying with his Grammy and Granddaddy the next few days while I am slaving away for Bridezilla! (she really isn't that bad) I am a little nervous about him being there because they have a pool in their backyard. He has been good so far about not going out there by himself but I just hope it stays that way! I get horrific images in my head of things that could happen. I just put him in God's hands while I am away and really even when he is in my care. I have been known to lose him before! :) He called me tonight to let me know he pee-peed twice on the potty! He was so proud of himself and the treat he received for doing so! I started feeling that I am treating my son like a dog. As I recall dogs get treats for doing their business not people. Hmmm...there is something wrong with our thinking sometimes.
Another thing I am looking forward to (kind of) is Cannon getting his nose fixed. (Refer to the surgery post). He has a constant stream of snot coming from his nose at all times. If for some reason it is not streams it is because it is clogged with a boogie the size of his nostril! No joke! For such a little guy, he can make some pretty mean boogies! That is his choice of wording of course. He comes to me and says "Look mommy, I gots a boogie on me finger!" or "Yucky mommy, get this boogie off of me!" He is also very good at letting me know that he needs a Kleenex too. For that I am glad because I dread the day were I never see or hear about a boogie needing to be wiped away because he took matters into his own hands!!!
