Yesterday was one of THOSE days! I was very glad when it was over. To list a few things my precious little boy did:
1. He woke me up at 7:30 on my day I could sleep in.
2. He peed through this night clothes and sat on the couch soaked!
3. He later pooped, took his diaper off in my bathroom and discreetly came and sat in the living room without me noticing. Then stood right in front of me holding himself saying "Look Mommy!" I then noticed the poop everywhere.
4. He decided to use a phone charger as a weapon. He swung it a the TV a few times after being told not too, he starting aiming for my HEAD!
5. The above pictures are from his 3RD set of soaked through of clothes. I took off his clothes and then diaper and he escaped! He ran outside naked and had a grand ol' time!
6. I took him to the park where he decided he didn't want to play anymore and ran away from me. Anytime I would get close he ran further away! I was screaming at the top of my lungs for him to stop, but he just laughed and kept on running! I was so scared he was going to run out in the street.
7. At dinner he threw mash potatoes at me.
8. When I asked him for a kiss that night, he spit in my face.
Wow! I was so ready for that day to be over. God was just making sure that my previous post was true! He was testing my limits on how blessed I really thought I was. I still feel very blessed. I have a feisty little boy that can run and do all these things. Who is happy and full of curiosity. But when Andrew got home, I wanted to cry. I wanted to just go to bed and be done. But my duties as a wife and mother still had to be finished for the day. I survived. On to a new day! Let's hope it is better!
There will always be days like that. You just have to grin and bear it. I know when the kids were little there were times when I thought I would lose it but I didn't. Now I look back with many fond memories and laughs, the time just flew by! I love the pictures of Cannon in his birthday suit.
ReplyDeleteWhere in the world did he learn that? It must have been his Dad? You know girls never do that?
