Today was such a great day besides that fact that Andrew had to go in to work for a while. I decided it was time to do some spring cleaning. I swept and mopped all the tile floors, cleaned the bathrooms top to bottom, and vacuumed and shampooed the carpets of practically the whole house! Talk about back breaking! They funny thing was Cannon wanted to help me so bad! Anytime I sweep the floor he wants to do it and today when I was mopping, he wanted to do it! That is all well and good but very frustrating when you are trying to accomplish something and he just wants to play! So I let him play with the mop for a little bit and then continued my job. We he decided that since I wouldn't let him play with the mop anymore he would just play with the water bucket. I look back and find him bathing himself in the dirty mop water! YUCK! Then as I was down on my hands and knees scrubbing the spots he put in the carpet he decided he wanted to give that job a try as well. He decided that wasn't as fun. And my favorite was when I was shampooing the carpet he got his push popper, which he refers to as his "vacuum". and as I went back and forth with my shampooer he mimicked me. With his and on his hip and all! I have a feeling in a few years he won't think all these things are as fun as he does now!
When Andrew got home we sat on the couch together and watched a little Hannah Montana. A pretty big thunder storm came through while we were sitting there, so Andrew gets the idea to take Cannon running outside in the rain! Cannon loved it! They were both SOAKED when they came in and of course messed up my nice clean floor! Oh well, it never lasts very long anyway! :)
Here you thought you had a boy and instead you have a monkey. He is kinda ape like in many ways. Maybe evolution is true??
ReplyDeleteI used to love riding my bike in the rain and I think my mom said something similar too.
